On the 15th June 2025 we held our Charity Day in aid of our President Anne Jones chosen charities East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Ipswich Children’s Hospice.
Once again we had a bright warm sunny day for the bowlers and we were supported by 40 bowlers from the area, who enjoyed a fun relaxing day.
The bowlers were split into 2 sets of bowlers with the winners of set one playing the winners of set two to find first and second, and the runners up in set one played the runners of set two to find third and fourth place.
We played 3 games of 10 ends, with 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw with + and – shots making up the scoring.
At the end of the day our overall winners were Kate Sarginson and David Milan and our President Anne Jones, who presented all our winners with their prize money.
